The PC version of Destiny 2 is now exclusively available on Steam after years in Activision-Blizzards Battle. Net client. The change took place in 2019 with the launch of Shadowkeep, so regular Destiny 2 players have already moved their accounts to Steam. However, if you’ve played Destiny 2 and have an extinct character that you want to keep available, you need to move fast – this is your last chance to migrate your Destiny 2 battle. Net account on Steam.
You can no longer log into your battle. Network profile for Destiny 2 for the 1st. December at 9:00 AM PST / 12:00 PM EST / 5:00 PM GMT. So if you started playing Destiny 2 in Battle. net at some point in the past you will have to move your account to a new platform or your progress will be lost forever. Destiny 2 is free to play on Steam so you don’t have to buy the game on the new platform to continue.
This deadline does not affect the broader options for further development. You can still move your character from the consoles to Steam or vice versa. We’re just losing access to this battle. Web version here.
