Three unregistered firearms were seized from the members of the Bashkort extremist organization banned in Russia on January 13 in Bashkortostan, a law enforcement source told Bashinform.
Earlier, a criminal case was initiated on the fact of Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (« Hooliganism with the use of weapons »), according to which the investigative actions were carried out by the employees of the Central Electoral Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Belarus and the FSB for the Republic of Belarus. A total of 15 people were detained on January 13, presumably all of them are members of the extremist organization « Bashkort » banned in Russia.
During the arrest, in addition to unregistered firearms and edged weapons and ammunition, extremist literature and symbols of the Bashkort organization banned in Russia were seized.
